General Notary Acts

The State of Florida sets a statutory limit of $10 per act for basic notarizations.

Oaths and Affirmations

Acknowledgments

Service Fees

The travel, wait, and specialized facility fees listed below are for coordination and convenience. They are separate from, and in addition to, the state-regulated fees for individual notarial acts.

Flat Travel Fee

Within a 10-mile radius of our service area. Waived for 10 or more notarial acts per session.

Wait Policy

+$25

Applied per 15-minute increment of delay.

Specialized Facilities

+$50

Coordination fee for Hospital, Nursing, & Care Facilities.

Jail Facility

Includes (1) signature and up to (1) hour of wait time. Non-refundable if meeting is denied.

Loan Signing Services

Professional closing services for Refinances, Purchases, and HELOCs. Price varies by loan type and document volume.

Online Notary & Fingerprinting

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

  • Base RON Session: $25
  • Additional Notarizations: $10 each
  • Witness Fee (Online): $10 per witness
  • Platform Fee: $5 – $10 (Varies by platform)

Live Scan Fingerprinting

Total costs are calculated based on your specific ORI number. Your final quote includes the FDLE background check fee, our office processing fee, travel fee and applicable state tax. Once you provide your ORI number, we can confirm your exact total.


Important Refund Policy

Please double-check all information before your appointment. Once a scan is submitted to the FDLE, it is processed immediately and cannot be altered. For this reason, all sales are final and non-refundable once the submission is complete.

Appointment Policies

To provide reliable and timely service to all our clients, SWFL Signatures maintains the following policies. Please review them carefully before booking.


Booking & Deposit Policy

To reserve your mobile notary appointment, a $35 deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • How it Works: This deposit secures your time slot and covers travel within our 10-mile service radius in Fort Myers.
  • Credit Toward Service: Your $35 deposit will be credited toward your total service cost at the time of your appointment.
  • Cancellations: * 24+ Hours Notice: Full refund of deposit.
    • Less than 24 Hours / No-Show: Deposit is non-refundable.
    • Rescheduling: With at least 24 hours’ notice, your deposit can be transferred to a new date.

Essential Requirements for Success

Failure to meet these requirements will result in a failed appointment fee.

Identification & Presence

  • Everyone Must Be Present: All signers must be physically present. No exceptions.
  • Valid Photo ID: Every signer and witness must have a current, non-expired, government-issued photo ID (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport). 

Document Preparation

  • Documents in Hand: You must have the physical documents ready.
  • Do Not Sign: Documents must be unsigned until the notary arrives.
  • Complete: No blank spaces, incomplete fields, or white-outs.
  • English Only: Documents must be in English. 

Signer Awareness

  • Free Will: All signers must be alert, aware of what they are signing, and acting without coercion. 

Failed or Unfinished Appointments

Once travel has begun or we have arrived at the location, the full travel fee and applicable surcharges (tolls, parking, etc.) are due and payable, even if the notarization cannot be completed due to:

  • Signer "No-Show" or refusal to sign.
  • Inadequate or expired identification.
  • Errors in the documents provided by the client.
  • The signer is unable to sign for any reason.
