For Live Scan services, biometric information such as fingerprints may be captured and transmitted through the applicable Live Scan system or authorized service provider for the purpose requested by the client.

The information required for a Live Scan submission may include identifying information, agency or ORI information, and transaction information such as a Transaction Control Number (TCN), when applicable.

SWFL Signatures does not determine an applicant's eligibility for employment, licensing, certification, immigration, or other governmental purposes.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe and Square.

Depending on the payment method used, the payment provider may collect and process payment information necessary to authorize and complete the transaction. SWFL Signatures does not intentionally retain full payment card numbers or card security codes in its own business records.

Where a legal retention requirement applies, SWFL Signatures may be unable to delete or provide access to certain records before the applicable retention period expires.

Clients should understand that RON records may be subject to additional requirements depending on the type of transaction, document, platform, or applicable law.

Live Scan fingerprinting involves the collection and transmission of biometric information for an authorized background-screening or identification purpose.

SWFL Signatures uses the applicable Live Scan system, equipment, and authorized transmission process associated with the requested service.

Because fingerprint processing may involve third-party technology providers and governmental repositories, the handling and retention of biometric information may also be governed by the policies and requirements of the applicable agency, service provider, or governmental authority.

SWFL Signatures does not use fingerprint information for unrelated marketing or commercial purposes.

SWFL Signatures does not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

Information may be disclosed or transmitted when reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, operate our business, or comply with applicable law.
